“On July 28, 2010, through Resolution 64/292, the United Nations General Assembly explicitly recognized the human right to water and sanitation and recognized that safe drinking water and sanitation are essential for the realization of all human rights. The resolution calls on States and international organizations to provide financial resources, assist capacity building and technology transfer to help countries, particularly developing countries, to provide safe drinking water and sanitation , clean, accessible and affordable for all.”

This resolution of the United Nations is the starting point of ACUSTER from which the resources at our disposal are only a means to reach its maximum compliance wherever necessary.

The fight against water wastage and contributing to making water, which is a scarce good, a priority for public services are the main motivations of the ACUSTER team.

Billions of people around the world continue to lack access to water, sanitation and hygiene, according to a 2019 UNICEF and World Health Organization report. Around 2.2 billion people globally do not have safely managed drinking water services, 4.2 billion people do not have safely managed sanitation services and 3 billion lack basic handwashing facilities.
