Every industry uses water at some point in its production process or as a component of its product. Companies use around 20% of the fresh water extracted in the world. This would be equivalent to about 45 litres, per person, per day, on average.

Aware of its impact on the use of an increasingly scarce resource, companies are designing water efficiency plans, improving their quality, reducing their consumption or returning more water to nature and in safe conditions.
